Sometimes when you give up trying to be mad at somebody and just forgive them(note: forgive, not forget); treat them superbly nice, they would actually surprise you. Maybe it's the guilt that overwhelms them, or maybe they saw how humanity still exists; they decide to try out being nice as well.
This was actually much shorter and concise in my head but I cannot write while listening to music. Bang bang into my head the words just fall flat.
It's pleasing to know that no one is hopeless; even the most selfish and self-centered of person is able to turn around and surprise you.
