Have you ever had that friend who everyone knows is an asshole and you know they are an asshole but somehow all of you are still friends with that asshole? This asshole is somehow a smart-alec, who knows how to talk to and treat people so that they want to be friends with them. They don't treat you like you're trash all the time, in fact, they treat you the best they can all the time. Just so when they need to take advantage of you without you saying no, they can do so shamelessly and unapologetically. Yeah, these kind of assholes who are thick-skinned enough to get what they want when they want it.
And yes I do know when they are doing it, and I willingly accept because sometimes, there is no other way to deal with assholes except let them think they got away. I happen to live with one for the pass 20 years hahaha. Sometimes it's okay. Other times, maybe not.
This time, I'll let that person think I let it slide but actually I will get my way.
