Today.

There isn’t anything wrong with her - except her constant doubting of her life and existence in the world. It’s absolutely normal.

She looks around her and thought about her life. Which one of her “friends” are real? Who will be the one who will stay to help when she needs it? Who will be there at her funeral with no words, just tears? She took a step back and realised that none of them will. Life is fair like that. All everybody cares about is themselves, and not anyone around them. She realises that she has to be independent.

Don’t derive happiness from others, make it happen from within you. She told herself to be self-sufficient. Don’t supplicate. Just survive.

Don’t impose your morals on others. Just because you would do it for others, doesn’t mean they will do the same for you. She knows that, but she helps people anyway. Because it makes her happy, from within.

She realises that when she helps people too much, they take her for granted. When she gives in to people too much, they take her for granted. But she knows she’s been taking other people for granted too. She wants to apologise, she wants to make up for it. Yet she’s too cowardly to approach them anymore.

Today, she realises no one likes her. Today, she dies.

And one more zombie walks the face of Earth.
