I have to constantly remind myself that I'm in school to learn, not score.
When planning my time table and selecting my electives, I often look at modules that will be easy to complete, easy to score, and takes minimal effort and time. I have to constantly remind myself that I am here to learn, that I should take up modules that genuinely interest me and will help me. Put some fun into school. I know my core modules already take up enough of my creative brain juices but taking up more challenging modules that require creativity wouldn't hurt, right.
Hence, I signed up for this module called Voice Studies and Production which is sort of a module that teaches you how to enunciate properly/breathe properly and I think I'll like it! Have always wanted to do voice-overs and that kind of stuff and I hope to learn something from here!
I also signed up for some Science mods to score lah okay.
Hopefully next sem I can sign up for Photo Imaging I and Digital Darkroom I. And not to forget my Psych minor. Didn't take any modules up because thought I should do it in sem 2 instead because the real psych majors take their mods in sem 1 and I don't wanna compete with people who take them as core. Come to think of it, they're actually freshmen so they might not be adept to uni life yet... oh well.
On a side note, Jurassic World was... meh. Did not even think of watching it but some people persuaded me. The storyline was meh and pretty cliche but I must say the Art direction was awesome. Photography direction was pretty good too. #artdirectiongoals The colours and props used were so apt I could die, it is an Art D's heaven.
